About the Association
Welcome to Queensland Ostomy Association, a voluntary group founded in 1972 to provide maximum support and assistance to ostomates. QOA is a member of the Australian Council of Stoma Associations and operates within ACSA guidelines to administer the Stoma Appliance Scheme on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.
The association is run by dedicated volunteers who give up their time and expertise on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week to keep the organisation running. Many volunteers are ostomates themselves, bringing first-hand understanding to every interaction.

Collecting in person? Last pick-ups are at 1:45 pm on Mondays and 2:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please allow time for your order to be prepared.

Membership & Access Fees
Annual fees cover your SAS access for the financial year. Membership is open to any ostomate requiring medical supplies under the Stoma Appliance Scheme.
Postage Fees
$15 per month | $21 for two months
Or collect in person from the Moorooka rooms at no charge
